Pop Culture Psychosis

Look at that. A real, actual, Wheezy original comic. Huh.

Thanks for sticking in there with me. With the end of my schooling coming up here in November, I'm going to be busy working on my demo reel pretty much non-stop for the next five months or so. I can't guarantee comics every week, but I'll certainly keep posting videos and some of my own work, and I'll do my best to get a comic up when I can.

Enough of that. Today's comic is actually part of a collaboration from a ways back with Enliv. Each one of us wrote the script for the other's comic... this way we had to do some writing with other people's characters and stretch our comedic horizons a little bit.

The idea for today's comic came from Mr. Johnny Nguyen. Enjoy!

You can see the rest of the collaborations here and here.

Nice return! I'm on season two of BSG, should I know who Mr. Eyepatch is?

I guess more credit goes to Johnny here. I could have cut and pasted most of this together from past Wheezy comics I bet.

Gee thanks Ross. Glad you think so highly of my abilities.

And it's Saul Tigh. You'll find out about the eye patch. I didn't really ruin anything for you.

Unless I tell you that it gets ripped out by a cat.

Oops!

Well at least we didn't go with your first idea...

"Just put Dan in a room with a naked old man."

I think you might need to see a shrink man.

I think that was some crazy blend of a Wheezy comic with a JD from Scrubs fantasy...

You probably could have gone with the naked old man as well - I'm pretty sure that would have fit the theme.

Well emily has been recording all Scrubs on all channels on the DVR lately. I think that show is on more than Law and Orders.

Also, the old guy thing will probably work, but I gotta save some material for future comics ya know.
