I'm pretty sure I already told this story to every person I know, but in case you hadn't heard it, the above scenario actually occurred between two Menards employees, one of which was my friend.
He was the one reading the magazine, not the one asking the questions.
Just keep that in mind next time you ask a Menards employee for help with your deck or beer bong or whatever it is you're trying to build.
On a technical note - when you click on the link to the comic, most web browsers will automatically scale it down to fit in the window. My comics aren't meant for that kind of containment. If you're using Mozilla just click on it again, it such bring it to actual size. If you're using Explorer click the little icon thingy in the lower right hand corner to do the same.
These comics are meant for more than 800x600.

Well, if you don't know, Tommy Lee is actually filming a reality TV show for NBC on my campus, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He's joined the band, played drums at halftime of last week's football game against Baylor, gone to classes and taken tests. He's just acting like your average 42 year old college student would I suppose, at least for the 5 weeks he's supposed to be here.
He also introduced himself to some of the people wandering around campus, including one of my friends who was studying out in front of the Union. His pick up line was brilliant.

So, my buddy got Lasik surgery this past week - but only on one eye. His parents' insurance apparently only allows for so much spending on this sorta thing per year, (I'm a little vague on the details), which means he gets one eye fixed in 2004 and one fixed in 2005.
I tried to convince him to get a monacle, but apparently that isn't "socially acceptable" enough.
I say, if it's good enough for Uncle Pennybags it's good enough for me.
Anyway, the drawing happened after I read his away message that said "Getting steroids for my eye".

Well, I decided to start a blog - mainly because it was the easiest way I could think of to post web comics. Plus I just really like jumping on band wagons of any type.
I've still got a closet full of parachute pants from when MC Hammer was big, in case anybody is interested.
So I'm gonna start posting them as I finish them. Hopefully they're funny. If not - oh well. It's still better than homework or work.
First one is in the post above.
